Fistful, Thank you for taking the time to develop this plugin. When I search for this plugin in the plugin manager, it shows up but when you install it after taking the permission needed, Notepad restarts and appear again like I never did install anything, I did it twice without results. Please try testing your plugin with the latest version of Notepad++ 7.6.6 build time 3Apr2019 Kind Regards, Sello A. tinus added on 2019-04-25 19:02:00: Hm... I get the same result if I try to install it using the Plugin Admin (not the Plugin Manager) in a new Notepad++ installation. It's a pity Notepad++ doesn't show any message mentioning why it didn't install the plugin. :-( I'll try to determine what's going wrong, and see if I can fix it. tinus added on 2019-04-26 14:46:35: The problem seems to be that the Plugins Admin doesn’t handle query string parameters properly; even the separators need to be URL-encoded for it to work. I’ll update the PluginList (and test them) when I can, but this means they’ll only get published with the next version of Notepad++. In the meantime, you can try to install the plugin manually. tinus added on 2019-04-27 07:42:46: The problem originates with this bug in Notepad++’s updater. I’ve circumvented the problem for now by escaping the full download URLs. It works in the debug version, but we'll have to wait for the next release of Notepad++ to see if it really works in the final version as well. I’ll close this bug at that time (if I don’t forget). |
