Hi Martijn,

Thank you for such a useful Npp plugin. I am trying to use it for rendering with IE10. However by default it only allows IE7, IE8 and IE9

I searched through the all content of your Web site but could not find any details on how to achieve this. Is it possible (may be through the config file) to allow IE10 rendering?
Thank you,
Oleg Shilo

Hello Oleg,

Thanks for your report!

But that’s strange. What version of Internet Explorer does the plugin’s ‘About’ dialog report? That’s what the plugin should use to enable the menus. (It fetches this from the Windows registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Version).

I haven’t got much time to spend on the Preview plugin at the moment, but I’ll add a setting to override the installed version when I get round to it.

Fixed in check-in [dcf6086ee4], released in v1.3.1.0.

The plugin now correctly identifies IE 10 (first, by looking at the version info of IEXPLORE.EXE; or if that fails, by looking at the 'svcVersion' value in the registry).

If that should fail, a Browser Emulation setting has been added which enables overriding the installed IE version.
